Canada a enregistré une croissance du PIB réel plus forte que prévu au deuxième trimestre. Le dollar canadien (USD/CAD) se négocie légèrement en baisse en dessous de 1,3500.
Le PIB réel du Canada a augmenté à un taux annuel de 2,1% au deuxième trimestre, selon Statistique Canada. Ce chiffre fait suite à la croissance de 1,8 % enregistrée au premier trimestre et dépasse les attentes du marché qui s’élevaient à 1,6%.
Sur une base trimestrielle, le PIB réel du Canada a augmenté de 0,5 % après une croissance de 0,4 % au T1.

Ces chiffres ne semblent pas avoir un impact notable sur l’action de l’USD/CAD. Au moment de la rédaction, le taux de change était en baisse de 0,1% par rapport au jour, à 1,3460.
