Natural Gas (XNG/USD) revient sur ses réflexions antérieures ce lundi selon lesquelles une récession mondiale pourrait se manifester. Le plus gros élément de ce retournement vient d’Espagne où les prix locaux du gaz sont supérieurs aux prix de référence européens. L’Espagne dispose d’un réseau de gaz juste à temps avec peu d’installations de stockage par rapport à la France ou à l’Allemagne, et dépend largement des approvisionnements en provenance d’autres pays.
L’Indice du Dollar US DXY voit quant à lui de nouveaux gains ce lundi après le ton positif du rapport sur l’emploi aux États-Unis vendredi, qui a dépassé toutes les attentes avec une performance remarquable de 303 000 contre 200 000 attendus. Les rendements américains ont augmenté de plus de 20 points de base dans le taux de référence à 10 ans aux États-Unis la semaine dernière, ce qui signifie que les attentes pour une première baisse de taux commencent à s’inverser de manière significative.
Le gaz naturel se négocie à 1,94 $ par MMBtu au moment de la rédaction.
